KWHL
KWHL is a women’s-only adult hockey league for players 18 and older, designed to offer athletes of all skill levels a fun, organized, and competitive experience.
KWHL runs out of Coyotes Community Ice Center on Wednesday & Thursday nights and operates as a draft-based league. Teams reset every season to keep the competition balanced and give players the chance to meet new teammates.
The league includes an evaluation period ahead of each season to help captains build evenly matched teams. All players, especially new participants, are encouraged to attend evaluations.
Whether you’re a newer player looking to develop your skills or a seasoned player wanting structured, competitive games, KWHL is a great way to stay on the ice, be part of a team, and compete for the K-Dub Cup each season.
League Details
COST:
New Player: $400
New Player Payment Plan: $450
Goalie: $245
*New jerseys will be introduced this season. All players will receive a new jersey and will need to register as a New Player*
Subs:
Season Subs: $150 for minimum of 5 games
Individual Game Subs: $25 per game, registration is free, you will be invoiced upon completion of the game
*Any outstanding balance will have you removed from the sub list*
REQUIREMENTS:
Age Requirements: 18 and older
Equipment Requirement: Full hockey equipment is required to participate.
Includes:
- On-Ice Sessions: (15 sessions, including evaluations, regular season, and playoffs).
- Draft-Based Format: Teams are re-drafted each season to maintain competitive balance.
- Skill Separation: Buzzer-based line changes help separate skill levels during gameplay.
- KWHL Jersey for new players (provided at evaluations or first game).
