Shott's Tots
About the Program
Shott’s Tots is Arizona’s Learn to Play hockey program for kids ages 4-10 who are new to the sport. Whether your child has never stepped on the ice or is just getting started, our program provides a fun and supportive introduction to hockey.
Players develop the fundamentals of skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting through a structured, development-first curriculum designed specifically for beginners.
New Players receive a full set of hockey equipment to keep, and programs are offered at rinks across Arizona.
Program Options
Choose the registration option that best fits your player:
New Player: $300
- 8 on-ice sessions
- Full set of hockey equipment to keep, including: helmet, gloves, neck guard, jersey, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, hockey socks, shin guards, skates, stick (straight blade), and an equipment bag.
Returning Player: $175
• Only for players who have previously participated in Shott's Tots
• 8 on-ice sessions
Program Eligibility
Ages: Open to kids ages 4-10
Player Status: Open to first-time hockey players and returning Shott’s Tots participants.
Experience: No hockey or skating experience required.
Equipment: New Players receive a full set of hockey equipment. Returning Players use their existing equipment.
ESA: Shott's Tots is an approved program under Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship (ESA) program. Families may use ESA funds under the vendor name Matt Shott Arizona Hockey Legacy Foundation.
